We are recruiting for a First Aid Instructor to join our team on a zero-hour contract.

This role is ideal for a professional, knowledgeable, and engaging instructor looking for flexible work with opportunities to contribute to the development of learners across the security and wider event support sectors.

You will be responsible for delivering first aid training to a high standard, supporting learners throughout their course, and helping ensure that training is practical, compliant, and relevant to real-world situations.

You will be responsible for delivering first aid training to a high standard, supporting learners throughout their course, and helping ensure that training is practical, compliant, and relevant to real-world situations.

Training May Include

  • Emergency First Aid at Work
  • First Aid at Work
  • Annual refresher training
  • Basic life support and emergency response modules
  • First aid elements within wider security or event-related training
  • Other training and development assignments as required

Typical Duties

  • Delivering first aid training professionally and effectively
  • Supporting learners in understanding course content and practical application
  • Maintaining a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Assessing learner performance in line with course requirements
  • Completing course paperwork and records accurately
  • Ensuring training is delivered in line with awarding body and compliance standards
  • Representing the company professionally at all times

Requirements

Essential

  • Relevant First Aid Instructor qualification or recognised training qualification for the courses being delivered
  • Strong knowledge of first aid principles and practical application
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Professional, reliable, and well organised approach
  • Ability to engage learners from a range of backgrounds
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Norfolk and the South of England

Desirable

  • Experience delivering Emergency First Aid at Work or First Aid at Work training
  • Assessor or IQA qualifications
  • Experience delivering training in security, events, or public-facing environments
  • Own transport, as some locations may not be accessible by public transport
