We are recruiting for Close Protection Officers to join our team for a range of assignments.

Opportunities are available on both a self-employed and PAYE basis, depending on the role and assignment. This role is ideal for professional, reliable, and experienced officers who can operate calmly, confidently, and discreetly in a range of environments.

We are looking for individuals who understand that close protection is about more than physical presence. It requires strong judgement, professionalism, situational awareness, discretion, and the ability to manage risk while maintaining a calm and reassuring approach.

  • Executive and private client protection assignments
  • Event and venue-based close protection support

Typical Duties

  • Providing professional close protection support in line with assignment requirements
  • Maintaining situational awareness and identifying potential risks
  • Supporting safe movement and secure environments for clients
  • Liaising professionally with clients, venues, staff, and operational teams
  • Responding calmly and effectively to incidents or changing circumstances
  • Completing records and reports accurately where required
  • Representing the company professionally at all times

Requirements

Essential

  • Valid SIA Close Protection licence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, reliable, and well presented approach
  • High level of discretion and situational awareness
  • Calm under pressure and confident in dynamic environments
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including early starts, late finishes, evenings, weekends, and short-notice deployments

Desirable

  • Previous close protection experience
  • Experience in executive, event, or public-facing deployments
  • First Aid qualification
  • Own transport where appropriate for assignments
  • Interest in progressing into specialist or overseas assignments where opportunities arise
