We are recruiting for a Drone Operator to join our team for a range of assignments.

Opportunities are available on both a self-employed and PAYE basis, depending on the role and assignment. This role is ideal for a professional, reliable, and detail-focused operator who can work calmly, safely, and to a high standard.

We are looking for someone who understands the importance of professionalism, situational awareness, and compliance. Depending on the assignment, duties may involve supporting site monitoring, event operations, inspections, or wider operational tasks.

Assignments May Include

  • Event and venue support
  • Site monitoring and aerial observation
  • Operational support across Norfolk and the South of England
  • Inspection or surveillance-related tasks where appropriate and lawful
  • Other specialist assignments as required

Typical Duties

  • Operating drones safely and professionally in line with legal and operational requirements
  • Carrying out pre-flight checks and maintaining equipment standards
  • Capturing and reporting relevant footage or observations where required
  • Supporting operational teams with aerial awareness and site oversight
  • Maintaining accurate records and following assignment instructions
  • Representing the company professionally at all times

Requirements

Essential

  • Relevant drone operator qualification or certification required for the work being undertaken
  • Strong understanding of safe and lawful drone operation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, reliable, and well presented approach
  • Calm under pressure and confident working independently or as part of a team
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Norfolk and the South of England
  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including early starts, late finishes, evenings, weekends, and short-notice deployments

Desirable

  • Previous commercial or operational drone experience
  • Experience in security, events, inspections, or public-facing environments
  • Own transport where appropriate for assignments
  • Interest in progressing into specialist assignments where opportunities arise
