We are recruiting for an SIA Instructor to join our team on a zero-hour contract.

This role is ideal for a professional, knowledgeable, and engaging instructor looking for flexible work with opportunities to contribute to the development of future security professionals.

You will be responsible for delivering training to a high standard, supporting learners throughout their course, and helping ensure that training is practical, professional, and aligned with the expectations of the industry.

You will be responsible for delivering training to a high standard, supporting learners throughout their course, and helping ensure that training is practical, professional, and aligned with the expectations of the industry.

Training May Include

  • Door Supervisor training
  • Security Officer training
  • Upskilling and refresher sessions
  • Conflict management and physical intervention elements
  • First aid or related support modules, depending on qualifications held
  • Other training and development assignments as required

Typical Duties

  • Delivering SIA-related training professionally and effectively
  • Supporting learners in understanding course content and expectations
  • Maintaining a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Assessing learner performance in line with course requirements
  • Completing course paperwork and records accurately
  • Ensuring training is delivered in line with awarding body and compliance standards
  • Representing the company professionally at all times

Requirements

Essential

  • Relevant SIA instructor qualification or recognised training/assessor qualification for the courses being delivered
  • Strong knowledge of the private security industry
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Professional, reliable, and well organised approach
  • Ability to engage learners from a range of backgrounds
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Norfolk and the South of England

Desirable

  • Experience delivering Door Supervisor or Security Officer training
  • Assessor or IQA qualifications
  • First Aid instructor qualification
  • Experience in conflict management or physical intervention training
  • Own transport, as some locations may not be accessible by public transport
